On Sunday we threw a birthday party for our new 7 year old! Alice and I had talked last year about throwing a supergirl party but between having a two month old baby and a 45 year old invalid (Scott had shoulder surgery 2 days after her birthday with the knee surgery to follow 2 months later) there ended up being no 6th birthday party for Alice.

Last spring I saw a Andy Warhol-esque Campbell’s tomato soup display in a glass fronted cabinet in a design magazine. Within hours I was proudly displaying my own 24 cans of tomato soup in my glass fronted cabinet!

Well… a couple days late posting this but probably not a big surprise.

I came across this little girl’s room in a Pottery Barn Kids catalog and was instantly inspired by the scrapbook papered wall and decided this was just what Alice’s room needed!
